Sold to a collector in Abilene, TX. 30×12 acrylic on canvas. George Beverly Shea (and this song in particular) reminds me of Sunday morning drives to church….we must have had a tape. Do you all know what a tape is? My 5 year old didn’t, lol.

Cindy, my late husband purchased your painting (2/2009). Would you like to have it?

Hi Tina, I was able to find his obituary online – My condolences ❤️ I can’t recall if he sent me any note when he purchased it, but I know I would have sent one having been born in Abilene (and also being from a military family) Please don’t bother with getting the painting back to me. If it is no longer needed or your are making space – feel free to donate it somewhere that needs a pop of color (children’s department/nursery at church?) or wherever. Sometimes people will make something available online via eBay auction or a flat price. If you decide to do something like that, let me know and I can put the word out to my followers on social that it’s available if anyone is interested. Thank you for the offer though – Cindy
