I’ve got 3 new mini original paintings. This time it’s photobombing sunflowers, a peeking rabbit, and a serene green landscape. Like my larger paintings, these are all painted with acrylic on canvas, sealed with a gloss varnish, and these will come in the frames shown. I’ve custom framed them so they will hang on a wall (they do not have a kick stand and sit on a desk). Reminder: US orders in my etsy shop that total over $35 ship for free! -Cindy
So I was perusing through the art over at art.com and I stumbled upon a feature page titled “Introducing Independent Artists” with 5 featured artworks in a rotation at the top. My painting “A Solar System” was one of them…Wow!
I have quite a few fine art prints posted on their sister site ArtistRising…the current count is 77. And I will be adding quite a few more over the next few weeks. All prints purchased through this site are printed and shipped through the art.com company. Ever wonder how their framed prints turn out? Art.com actually sent me that print as a gift because it was the 2nd place finalist in their 2010 art competition. It was a NICE surprise when I received that package in the mail. It’s a 24″ x 24″ framed and matted print (looks like a black frame but it is a mahogany color), and sits right here above my desk…
Another print was recently spotted on the Mayor’s desk from the city of Acworth, GA. I don’t know if art.com did the framing, but you can see the option of how an unmatted print looks framed in this video.
