Central Florida painting #Orlando

I finished this 5 piece painting today.  Each piece was done on a 16×20″ stretched canvas.  What are we looking at here?  It’s Central Florida!  My home sweet home.  To the west we have Cinderella’s castle off in the distance with a road that leads to the city of Orlando.  The road continues passing by a home.  This home is the Central Florida Children’s home and the reason I painted the piece as this will be given to them this week.  Looking east you can see NASA’s Vehicle Assembly Building with a rocket in flight.  You can’t paint a pan of Florida without including a breezy beach!

Several people asked for a print version, so I’ve made one available over at Fine Art America.  They are not individual prints.  It’s one print with all the images on one sheet just like the image shown above.  It’s available from a small 16″ wide to a huge 84″ wide with many in-between sizes.  Below are some up close shots of the actual paintings.

House Builds a Rocketship

Just posted on etsy!  This painting is from page 26 from my new book just released last month “House“.  If you don’t yet have a copy of the book and are following my page illustration releases, are you getting that my husband and I went with “imagination” as the theme of this book 🙂  I love a good adventure, but have it be about a house why don’t ya!  lol.

Ok, so this is my 4yo favorite part of the book…the rocketship.  I almost hate to part with this painting, as I love the rocket against the techno pop pink sky.  It’s been hanging in my office for a month or so, but I’m willing to let it go.  Perhaps more space adventure paintings will come out in the future.
