Been busy these past few weeks…will spare the details for now. Wanted to at least update few new things from the studio. Some pieces sold before I could head over here and post about them, so sorry for the delay…
“Stargazer” 16×16 acrylic on canvas (sold)
This was the first girl painting I was able to offer direct from me. The other 18 girls I completed earlier this year were all a part of the Taiwan art show this past spring. Hoping to be able to offer more soon as inspiration is always blowing in through my starry window.
A signed limited ed. print of 20 is available here.
New Collection – Decorative “pop” illustrations.
I call these illustrations mainly because their black bold lines remind me of illustrative art.
Below are three new works. These all have an energetic personality to them, at lest to me they do.
And lastly – “Gulf Winds” (sold)
You would think being from Florida that I would paint more beaches and palms. Perhaps that will change, as I love my home state. I painted this one less breezy and more tropical stormish. I have been through several hurricanes, two of them were bad ones (Opal 1995, and Charlie 2004). Picture me crawling across the house, as I decide that one room might be more safe than the one I was in. Yes, when your inside ceiling attic door is being picked up and slammed down by outside wind, you think your house is about to leave Kansas. Right toto? But I digress…..if you missed this one, more palms and salt water to come.
