Artist Note:  Someone asked me at my art show if any of my paintings were self-portraits. I said maybe on a subconscious level someone could analyze and make a case …but no, I don’t intentionally paint myself.  If I had to pick one though, I would pick this one.  I fall short of the mood of this painting daily, however it is a goal to get my heart in the right place each day.  This piece was titled after Psalms 96:1 “Sing unto the Lord a new song, sing unto the Lord all the earth”
