This is an over painting on a thrift store rescue. The original is a molded style relief manufactured piece, I don’t know the year. If I had to guess, I would say 80’s…but I really don’t know. This art piece was discarded, and it has now been given new life. The original had areas where the paint had peeled along with various cracks. The entire piece received an overpainting, along with a nice gloss varnish to both protect it from further wear and enhance the colors. I added some movement with a cute VW Bug. The frame has been touched up, but it does show its history.
More details and picture are up in my shop. See it in my etsy shop here!
Follow me on instagram or etsy to catch one as I don’t know when I will cross paths with another abandoned piece.
